A Major Event for the Latin American Gaming Industry
Gaming & Technology Events (GAT) CEO José Aníbal Aguirre and AIEJA President Miguel Ángel Ochoa have announced that GAT Expo Mexico 2025 will take place on August 20 and 21, 2025, in Mexico City.
This highly anticipated event is described as a milestone for the Latin American gaming industry. Building on the success of GAT Caribe Cancun, the expo aims to expand its reach by relocating to the heart of Mexico.
Industry Leaders Rally Behind the Event
Aguirre highlighted the involvement of major global brands such as Ainsworth, Pragmatic Play, Novomatic, Merkur, and Interblock, emphasizing their pivotal role in the event’s development. He also credited the Mexican gaming sector, represented by AIEJA, as the backbone of the expo.

The announcement of GAT Expo Mexico finalizes the organization’s schedule for 2025:
- GAT Expo Cartagena: April 28-30, 2025
- GAT Expo Mexico: August 20-21, 2025
- GAT Expo Bogotá: September 18, 2025
- GAT Expo Santo Domingo: November 6-7, 2025
Additionally, GAT will participate in ICE Barcelona from January 20-22, 2025, to promote Latin America’s vibrant entertainment industry.
Success of GAT Caribe Cancun
The inaugural GAT Caribe Cancun was held at the Cancun International Center, bringing together over 320 entrepreneurs from 31 countries, including Germany, Argentina, Australia, and the United States.
The event featured three key components:

- Networking Opportunities

Esports and AIEJA Collaboration
